Do you have a showroom?
Yes we have a purpose built show home displaying Timber Windows and Doors as well as Sliding Doors, integrated working blinds, the Residence Collection uPVC and bespoke leaded windows. Our showroom meetings are informal and relaxed and by appointment only so we can ensure we provide you with our ful attention and expertise.

Can you help me choose the right window and door style?
Yes. We provide experienced advice based on the architecture of your property, the appearance of its existing windows and doors and your individual requirements.
We can help you compare flush casement and sliding sash windows, review suitable proportions and opening configurations, and explore colours, glass and hardware. You can also visit our showroom to see product details and finishes in person.
How much do timber windows and doors cost?
We can do you a quick quote if you can send us a photo of your home with internal sizes, we can give you an accurate estimate within 24 hours.

Do timber windows require a lot of maintenance?
Timber requires periodic inspection and eventual recoating, but modern manufacturing and factory applied finishes have reduced the maintenance associated with older timber windows. The schedule will depend on the finish, location, exposure and quality of care.
How long will my new windows and doors last?
Our products have a 10 year warranty on paint, glass, and hardware 30 years on timber with a life expectancy of over 65 years.
Do timber windows and doors come with a guarantee?
Yes, we carry our own warranty as well as the one from our partner company George Barnsdale.
Can I buy windows in different colours?
Yes as all our products are bespoke you can have any colour, all we need is a RAL number or sample pot.
Are timber windows and doors good for the environment?
Yes the impact on the environment from timber production is minimal in comparison to other materials, and as a company we are carbon negative.

Are timber windows better than uPVC windows?
Neither material is automatically better for every property. Are uPVC windows suitable for period properties?

Which is more energy efficient, timber or uPVC?

Do timber alternative windows require maintenance?
uPVC timber alternative windows generally require less ongoing maintenance than traditionally painted timber windows.

Can timber and uPVC products be colour matched?
Yes. A close colour match can be achieved with careful product and finish selection. Tone, sheen, texture and appearance in different lighting conditions should all be considered, particularly when the products will sit close together.
