Cambridge Renovation
The owner of this stunning property in Cambridge embarked on a renovation journey that took her to places she had not envisioned, including the world of timber windows and doors.
This is a story about a renovation that combines Regency charm and elegant Georgian design with 21st century manufacturing, installation, and performance.
It is also a story about teamwork and multi-team collaboration.
Product Demonstrations
See a selection of our windows, doors and glazing products in action, with demonstrations highlighting their design, operation and the features that make them suitable for different properties.
Historic Sash Windows
This video demonstrates a mock up of a Victorian Terrace House in our Suffolk Showroom with a Historic Sash Window glazed with a slimline sealed unit with putty. This is a window that we have great success with Conservation Officers in Listed Buildings, it is a like-for-like replacement for the majority of historic windows.
Secondary Glazing
We would also like to show you on the inside of this sash window we have a Selectaglaze Secondary Glazing Unit. When we can’t get consent to change a window or client’s may not want to, we can install secondary glazing.
Legacy Sliding Sash Window
Filmed at our showroom, this short video demonstrates the Legacy Sash Window and its smooth spring balance operation, which replaces the cords and weights found in traditional sash windows.
Timber Alternative
If you are considering an alternative to timber for a period property, we can explain the different options and help you find the right solution for your home.
Aluminium Sliding Doors
These Aluminium Sliding Doors in black with integrated electric blinds are available to view at our Suffolk Showroom. Both panels will slide, we can accommodate almost any design and configuration and we can also do 3 doors in a triple track.
Integrated Blinds
The integrated blinds are great to keep heat out and for privacy. Because they are inside the glass, they don’t ever get dirty and so a nice addition should you wish to do that.
Residence Collection
Excell Timber Windows are Approved Residence Collection Installers.
This an R9 window, triple glazed and finished in a green grained finish available to view in our Showroom in Suffolk. A flush casement window with multi-point locking system. A great alternative to timber.
